I own DMAT account and unaware about the procedure of book close. if I purchase certain stock on delivery before book closure of the company say ending year march,2012 and I have only 100 share showing in my DMAT account then should I get extra share after book closer otherwise what is procedure.
Nifty has made vital breakout today with huge volume & most important part is the closing around the level of 4900.now nifty could face next resistance at the level of 4980 to 5000. Closing above could take it the nifty till 5100 level. I recommend the long position in Nifty future above the level of 4940. Nifty could get the intraday support around the level of 4740. If nifty closes above the level of 5000 one should focus for the long position in It.
2) If I buy company 'A' shares before the Ex-date for Dividend and then after 10 days of the Record date, if I sell the shares of the same cmpany, Will i be eligible for the Dividend?
3) For how many days, I should keep the shares into my A/c for Tax-Free?
