Frankly Mr. Ramachandran, 1. Which boss will tell you he is a control freak? 2. If people have been leaving his team left, right and center, will he happily own up to the fact? 3. Which boss will delightedly say 'I expect you come to office and goof off from 9 to 5'? It's a given that you will be expected to give all you got, and even more beyond the call of duty in your job.
And speaking from experience(10 long years), I can definitely say that when you are angling for that new lucrative job, the last thing you want to do is act super smart by trying to 'turn the tables on them' and asking such questions. 9 times out of ten, you will be given a load of gas...
be practical. If you ask such questions, first of all the answers you will get will be totally opposite of reality. its just all fake. better work for company progress (and your manager ) progress, that only can lead to your happiness. rest all is just fake and looks good in writing and not in practical life.
Could anyone suggest how to get away from the my project lead.She is just having 3 yrs of Exp and she herself thinks that she is the best in the team and constantly complains about the team member, if she came to know that the team member is performing.All she wants is to bring down the spirit of the team member and show herself as a Icon.I dont want to leave my project as I like it so much, but I am running short of choices

Hi, Find out how others are feeling.If 25% or more are feeling the same way that you are feeling, then escalate the same to your Project Manager.And only you are feeling like that and unable to sort out things, then its better to leave the job/project. And again if you are a fresher, tolerate for a period till you learn some technical things and then tell them some stupid reason and leave the project. And also think of the period, whether it is appriasal time or not.

If you can tell me your name and some other details about yourself I would be in a better position to suggest a solution.I am a team lead and I too have people working under me.It has also appeared to me that one person in particular doesn't like me,and always ends up creating a block.So it may not always be your lead who is a problem,it can be you as well.Albeit unknowingly!

Dear friend, you have two choices.Either you like you or your project.Which is more important?.Definetely it is you.When you yourself is in trouble, how you can contribute to your project?.Impossible.You can not achive both. In life we should always be ready to sacrifice something.No gain without pain.You will spoil your health,if you continue with the said project.Ultimately, you will be removed from that project on health ground.In end you will be missing both your health and the project.So now what is your priority?
what happens when this boss of your puts you everytime in wrong projects which do not match your skills and finally when u refuse,you are scape goat.Even when you have personel reasons to relocate and you tell your boss, you are the loser..so all the time trying to please him or look through his eyes may not be the solution..give us some solution in this situation rather than following the noblistic path

its not necessary, manager should say about his team.but his expectations from his team memeber ( if a person is recruited), I personally ask this question at the end of an Interview for an INterviwer, but the answer is same ( "I would expect hardworking, energetic etc" )

even i am wondering for certain situation , where in i have to leave my very good job , This kind of situation arises due to the unprofessional behaviour by a staff, to whom i submitted my resume, dat person knows to my present boss, as both of them were form same organistion, he immediately called him, by taking no from my visition card, he was not a HR person, and told to my present boss about my resume , immediately my boss called me ask me why u appling, to dat particular organisation, he asked me to put my papers, and i due to my self esteem , put da paper, dat staff of xyz bank transfered himself to other city, and due to his unprofeesional behaviour i lost my job , what i do now?

first off - please improve ur communication skills...second off - dont be surprised cause these are common practices, while the so called 'thought leaders' can do intellectual stimulations around what makes an employee leave, I wonder if anyone can ever come up with what happens to an employee when he becomes the boss and why the animal changes from being a pug to a rottweiler....:-))
