I feel there should be a maternity leave of atleast 4 months in companies. Many middle class ladies have financial problems due to which they cannot stay for a longer period without their salary. So they need to join early immediately after the maternity leave get over. But this leaves their new born on artifcial milk or formula, which is not recommended by doctors. Even the mothers feel guilty of leaving thier babies at home and not being able to feed them. But cannot afford to loose their salary due to their financial situation. What is the solution for this? I think, the extension of period of maternity leave is a good solution.

Absolutely right. Maternity leaves should be extended from 3 to 6 months
