Money - Spending - Savings.
by Vydhyanata on Oct 02, 2006 04:04 PM

The article is very good. How I wish you send this message to all the boys and girs who take up jobs in places like Bombay and Bangalore. This will not only help them for a secured future, but also keep the inflationary rate under control. See what is happening in Bangalore. The way the techies are spending their money, the city is heading for a point of no return.

If the employers use this as a lesson in the induction courses, much can be expected.

I would appreciate many such articles in future too.

I guess wat Rahana wants to convey is how to manage ur money which is lying idle in ur savings bank account. She never said u should not enjoy ur money...but u must know how much u can save monthly after all ur monthly expenditure(ofcourse that includes ur fun time/weekend masti :)) and put that in the right place.

Thaere is nothing like a NSC account whenever one has to purchase NSC he has to fill a new form. One can purchase NSC eveytime one feels like I feel you should elaborate your point and be specific so that your readers who dont know the details should not get confused.

What not do to your money

I am in full aggreement with the thought shared by Raj. We just spend our lives running behind more and more money. If we can't enjoy it, then what's point in having it in bank? Life is too short just enjoy it. Money is bi-product what you get for serving this life. So do not worry about bi-product. It is yours and you will get more (rather it will follow you). Just get out and use your money to enjoy with your loved ones. You may not get this opprotunity tomorrow!

What not to do with your money
by Raj Khalid on Sep 12, 2006 09:38 PM

I have seen so many articles all advising us what to do and what not to do with money. They all evolve around investing, saving and other such safe issues. No one ever mentions that we make money in the first place to "ENJOY the benefits it gets us". Life is too short to only save and scrimp. I think if you have money then make a plan on how to spend it in a manner which brings you satisfaction. take that vacation, buy that car which you always wanted. Join a gym, give to the poor whatever turns you on, do it now before it becomes too expensive or you are too old to enjoy it. I can think of nothing more pathetic than an old person too frail to do anything but watch that investment growing in the bank or a fund. So go out an ENJOY (at least some of your money)

Rachana C,I feel is young and is not experienced, there
fore she is giving you bad advice.I am an elderly
person and I have seen all these jugglery. With the inflation rate hovering around 8%[ignore govt figures]
you should not save money.Take loan from bank, provident
fund, cooperative societies etc.Buy land near metropolis
or near your village or places where your inlaws are staying.Govt is printing money without adequate support.
All the sarkari economists are crooks ,do not beleive
them. They want to suck the Middle Class surplus.Do not
buy flat,they make a profit of 30%.

Money
by S.Viswanathan on Sep 12, 2006 08:47 PM

Is it what to do or what not to do. Money will not bring everything in life, especially sleep. Be generous. If you give, it (money) is yours. If you do not give, It is not yours. So said, Nanakji. Golden words indeed.
