Great Article Very accurately calculated and its true
by Xon Hondo on Nov 19, 2010 08:52 PM

what the author says is to burn around 300 calories in a day you can 52 minutes brisk walking @ 3.5 miles per hour . Idotic people are so quick to jump to conclusions and blame the author. if you dont count calories or dont know how they work STFU and do some reading.
Read up on the term Calorie Deficit . doing exercise helps u cut down calories in a day to maintain a calorie deficit. FOR complete morrons who fail to understand a simple thing. you got to maintain a balance of calories to get it to the daily requirement so that you maintain your weight. if eat more than required you need to work out more or if you eat less than required then you dont work out as much.
FOR ALL THE MORRONS WHO DONT KNOW HOW MUCH THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT IN A DAY TO MAINTAIN THEIR WEIGHT . google it Daily calorie requirements.
depends on age/weight/height/gender

Hi man,
Why you r after idali ,pav bhaji. It is a time consuming for prepration.
here is good food for you.Take 'puttu'with banana.
Puttu could be made with hot dried rice powder or mix equal quantity of ragipowder with little water to soak. steam it for few minutes. Hai very good for good energy. If you use ragi powder alone you may not be hunger for 12 hours.Very easy to cook. Hardly take 10 mts. Try and use.sam

calorie!

A Little knowledge kills a man!

Author seems to be a typical theoretical fitness freak/expert. W

Whatever you eat , you get some calories, because for that only one eats.

There is a story of one young \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'vaidyer\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' who had gone to market to purchase vegetables. He goes and stands infront of each and thinks about its bad effects and finally comes back home without buying anything!

Folks, don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t get misled by such articles, eat stomachful and work hard, watch out for excess oily and sweet foods... thats all.

cheers!!

The whole world know's what has been written in the article.

You could have posted a CALORIE CHART (many are available on RDA websites (RDA: Recommended Dietary Allowance)...

Cheers,

"You can also make it a healthier snack by adding half the quantity of potato and substituting the remaining with rajma"----- Pav bhaji is a B'bay delicacy... Not north indian..... where did Rajma come from ???

Why so much guilt - Does our body need calories to survive?
by Sneha on Oct 13, 2006 05:09 PM

Guys,

Our body needs a basic number of calories and nutrition to survive. Anything excess and we need to burn it out. So, with each and every dish, writing its equivalent guilt factor, is plain stupid. We do not have to think of burning *everything* that we eat! Only the excess part! So please write more exact information in your articles next time.

Thanks,
Sneha

Abhi
it is misleading
by Abhi on Oct 13, 2006 04:53 PM

Hi,
I think here the artical is more scary than helpful.
Author has no knowledge of normal calorie burning process of human body.
Suppose I had just pav bhaji for full day, do I still need to run/cycle for 80/60 min.
Come on do not try to scare people.
Be specific, when you give such info.

In terms of good and nutritious food, Idli Samber stands better than any other items, Idli made completely on steam, if u take samber idli, Its really delicious, for break fast or even for dinner idly samber is preferable.
