hello everybody,
I am new to mutual funds.I have invested to UTI MNC,yeild and opportunities fund.What r the risk factors in this?Am I going in a wright way?

i m new to mutual fund . so can any one guide me regarding risk factor to invest in mutual funds . because at some point of view i think this time its good to invest in mutal funds rather than going for ipo.

althogh i know there are some exceptional cases.

 Liquid Funds

If Liquid funds can offer only 5% return, why not invest in Post Office MIS or Senior Citizen deposit funds that give 8% and 9% respectively? Of course you can't withdraw after a year or so.
