according 2 me if designers are doing purposely what is the big deal why do we always thought as tabooo & due to only this fact our mind setup has changed 2 such a condition that it thinks bad but opposes infront of every1 of wat u are thinking bout then at that moment that thing should nothappen in 1s lifetime for that 1 should be given a lifetime prisonment.

designer not to be penalised
by prasad on Apr 04, 2006 04:44 PM

well to let people know of what i feel is that its not the designers fault but ours for making them design clothes that hang so loosely that it could come off any time during our crowded party circuits that we frequent . its entirely up to us what we were. if it does come open than we should be ready for it as it is our choise to wear such flimsy clothing designed by this so called tailors of modern society

hi,first of all, Hat's off to the lovely ladys who dare to walk the ramp keeping faith in their respective d'signers. Such things are part of the show & are made a big issues in our country in a way adding insult to injury. Organisations & people who were asleep till then will wakeup whn such embarrasing moments happen. It could happen due to type & quality of colth, or could be a publìcity stunt(which is bound to suc'd in India) or due to lack of time between change of costumes. But im sure gen' next is not grumbling. Afterall thrs more to see in cine these days. So get going girls, burn the floor we are "for" fashion. Truly Alex.

i donot think that this episode has to be taken too very seiously as we are humans and are bound to err.these things do happen sometimes given the time factor between change of outfits. so i donot think there is any body to be blamed

wardobe malfunction
by Jaya on Apr 04, 2006 02:16 PM

The designers involved in the incident should be penalised for what they have done, if it is proved that it was planned. Care should be taken to avoid such incidents in future.

The Designer should be penalised, they should not think about the cheap publicity but should think about the after effects on the model part.

Unnecessary hype created by the media.
by Shashi on Apr 04, 2006 01:05 PM

This issue has been unnecessary been blown out of proportion. We should take this things more positively if we want to become a modern developed country. Our politicians should think & debate more about development issues of the country rather than debating abount fashion shows & morale poicing in the assembly & par;iament.

Should Designers be penalised
by Kamaljeet on Apr 04, 2006 12:19 PM

As far as designers are concerned - they do not I repeat do not intend to show flesh on purpose. Its just a malfunction and should be treated as such. All this humbug which is being portrayed is not wanted for and the media should grow up.
As far as the Models are concerned - I feel its wrong to say that they enjoyed such a show. I can vouch for all that this malfunction is the most embaressing thing that can happen to any model Firstly, she is not prepared and secondly, it just makes her feel awkward infront of the crowd. You cannot expect them to run back to the green room just because there was a mishap. Its a show and they need to carry it forward.

I request all to just forget about the whole issue and carry on with life and enjoy the designs portrayed by the designers rather than the flesh shown by the models.

Peace to all.
