I am in Bangalore. My son an BE, MBA got the placement through campus interview but did not receive the letter of joing for almost 11 months. On frantic efforts he got an offer in a Bank's Credit Card division in Chennai for a monthly salary of 17k. He asked me whether he can manage his stay in Chennai with that income. I told him that it may be difficult for him with that money. But if I have to go to Chennai I will be able to manage with Rs.4k to Rs.5k.
