However, I think it would be better to verify the information from someone who reviews mutual funds regularly AND also distributes them.
For example, Franklin India Prima fund has recently stopped accepting fresh inflows. Among the funds recommended, both Prima and HDFC Capital Builder have been considerably underperforming in recent times.
