I recently visited Ganapatipule on 28th May I stayed in a Non AC room no accomodation,I had a reservation for two days but I fled from there the very next day.Though the rooms have a good view, there are insects as big as one inch long, fan with the regulator not working and the path which leads up to the beach is full of broken glass coconuts it is difficult to control the children who want to go bare feet on the beach.
All said and done I always wanted to go to Ganapatipule and do the Darshan of my favourite God.He was kind enough to let me do so.The beach needs to be cleaned ,otherwise the place is beautiful the winding path and the red mud, different types of flowers and who can forget the famous Kokum Sherbert, mangoes and Jackfruit all being sold in leaves instead of bags.
If I had an AC room I would have spent another day but we had to run so the next time I visit the place I will see to it that I book A MTDC cottage well in advance.
Well the experience was ok as I had travelled all the way from Ahemdabad to see this Ganapati.I was lucky to do a Abhishek for the entire year and the next day was Angarika so I paid for that as well.

I visited the place about a couple of year's back & stayed at MIDC resort. It was a fantastic experience.
