Munnar - a perfect destination for Honeymooners
by Vijay Kumar on Apr 16, 2007 07:32 PM

Hi,

Munnar is a great place and the best hill station according to me. It is not that commercialized like ooty and kodaikanal.

Please visit this place before it becomes totally commercialized.

Thanks,
Vijay

This msg is specially for people of Southern States of India.

If you need a break, please discover the Golden triangle of India, connecting Puri on Sea with Konark famous for the 12th Century Sun temple, the grandest masterpiece of Hindu Temple Architecture and Bhubaneswar, a city well inter-twined by the one of the oldest temple Cites of India and a modern City of wide avenues, gardens and parks.

These three destinations form a tringle with each side not exceeding 60 KMs. What you will see at these places:

Puri: The abode of Lord Jagannath, the English word Juggernaut is derived from this celestial word.
The finest and endless sea Beach with golden sand.
Museums rich with Handicrafts

KONARK: The Great Sun Temple-considered as one of the Wonders of the World. The endless unspoilt Sea Beach
Bhubaneswar: The Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, Kedar Gauri, The Peace Pagoda atop Dhauli Hills, The Botanical and Zoological Garden with largest nos of White Tigers, Lion Safari, The Buddhist & Jain Caves, etc

I have tried this , not that much good as I expected. I prefer to go to Madura meenashi temple instead of this. Since I am a south indian, I think the second one is cheap and best.
