I want to open an PPF a/c with SBI. I heard that the maximum income tax exemption for the said deposit will be Rs. 1 Lac. If I deposit Rs. 70,000/- in PPF, will I get the full income tax deduction ? Currently I am filing income tax return for Rs 85,000/- to the authorities ? Please advise.
Can I purchase NSC on the name of my parents who are dependent on me?? Will i get benefits under Section 80C ??? Interest income will be calculated in my account or parents account????
I purchase the NSC from rudrapur branch but now i am in pune .and period is just going to complete and i want cash to it.so can i refund In Pune please suggest

Yes You can,,,,,You can get money from any where in India but if you want to encash from other branch then you have to give a application in pune brach before 3 month of maturity because they will verify the same and will encash...
NSC instead of taking 5 or 6 yrs which is as it is allowed u/s 80 C for tax exemption, can't be our 1 year NSC allowed as investment u/s 80 C to save tax.

Go to SBI and fill one from ...your account will be opened....and go to Post office and deposit money you will get certificate of NSC of same amout
