House rent and tax benefits

 Exemption for House Rent

I stay in a rented accommodation in Mumbai and pay a rent of 9500 per month. 50% of my basic is 9000. What will be tax benefit I will be getting? Will I get an 100% exemption against tax? If not for what amount I am exempted for? Can anybody help me out?

Am presently based in Lucknow am staying on a rented accomdation. Would be shifting to Delhi, again on a rented accomodation. However due to constraints my family would continue to be in Lucknow on a rented accomodation. Please inform if we can claim exemption for house rent for both Delhi & Lucknow.

IS HRA is allowed to a employee placed in canada for job.(salary paid by ind.co. in USD)

Regarding this article, may please write whether reciept for rent payment is also required for claiming House Tax benefit.
