Nice resolutions. If u tell ur age , I can suggest the best way to get rich, which U have forgotten.
I invested in shares, post office, LIC, etc about 20 years back, and now I can advise better from where I really got benefitted.

sell & where to invest?

I have invested Rs.1.38 lakhs in equity /shares in nearly 15 companies. The current value of these scrips is 2.03 lakhs. A profit of 65 k. as per shalini, i sell all these scrips & take 2.03 lakhs.as i do not need the money , where should i invest this amount?
readers can offer suggestions.( what happens if i do not sell the shares?)

Attractive title ! Good advice on investments through ressolution concept. One more nice thing is postal MIS fetching better int.which one can reinvest in recurring or use for day to day exps. Lock in is six yrs.and limit is 3 lacs for individual. Then NSCs are good for tax saving with better interest option these days. Some portion of salary can be set aside for such safe investments to balance risk of stock/fund investments.

Have you communicated my last message to the Hon,ble Finance Minister? Please ensure that the Income taxs is levied only on the members of the Political parties so that lot of expenses on these establishments will be reduced and a common and poor man the voter is get rid of the head ache of the number of taxes levied by the Govt.

I am regular reader of get ahead money matters. Its extraordinary section. I benifited a lot from this. Please let me clear some IT rules in which I ave problem. I am Govt. servant.If I own home, how to calculate loss from house property, income from house property, capital gains. Also pl. describe the tax laws about income from ELSS. NSC interest is tax liable. In first year interest I can calculate. For 2-6 year how interest is calculated? If possible explain by examples
