this article is good.. actually i haven't experienced delivering speech at anybody.. but this week maybe our prof. will give the topic of what we're going to speech.. i'm shy talking in front of them.. but, with this article, maybe i could make it batter good.. (i hope so).. thanks for this!..
A pretty good article.. I especially liked this last point.. "Nothing is more contagious than loving what you do and having fun while doing it." How do you have fun doing something? Different people may have different ways. For me what works is "imagining myself knowing everything and hence sitting calm, relaxed, cool, ready to answer any queries, all doubts with ease, without any problems" never mind reality - if, for the moment you can imagine that this is true, you would have gone a long way towards enjoying it......that's been my experience..
public speaking is an assett and an important addition to your overall personalty.if some one is really interested in acquiring this skill,i would advise him to become the member of JCI.this an international youth organisation devoted to individual development.the membership is open to anyone from 18 to 40 yrs of age.this organisation has helped me to acquire the skill of public speaking.the idea is not only to learn public speaking but to become an EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SPEAKER. thanks, u s tak, Jaipur
It is a real life article, what great speakers have done, are doing and are going to do. More you practise the better you become in oration. Expecting few more such articles, on rediff, if wished I can send my opinion or article on this issue.
