These are all text book answers. On paper they do look good, but when it comes to implementing them in actuality, you won't find any takers.

What you belive is good. At the same time if the employer is not bothered about the employee what type of bad impression can be created. But looking to the present situation if you want to be perfect and get good salary then it is required to switch over the jobs, subject to the category of employer.

don't quit your job
by nandhini on Sep 01, 2006 03:30 PM

Yeah, that's true. where ever you go, you will face such kind of
problems
and you can not be running always as that will spoil your career.
The only way to overcome is to face the problem boldly and express
your views against that. Then you can feel the difference in yourself.

dont say bye bye to jobs
by SHALABH BHARADWAJ on Sep 01, 2006 02:05 PM

Depending upon the circumstances one takes the decision of switch over but more or
less it's simply adaptation according to the circumstances according to DARWIN'S THEORY
witch helps in getting a place of respect in his/ her organisation .

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna to your job/Don't say bye to Your job
by S H Sha on Sep 01, 2006 12:27 PM

I completely agree with the article/author. However what one shld do when U have a Boss who appreciates your good work in terms of lip service and when it comes to promotion/Salry increase he wld simply backs others who are loyal to him rather than to the organisation and would not change even after discussing the matter accross the table.Even his boss wld do the same.
Then I feel there is no alternative but to say good bye instead of staying back and cribbing.
