I feel its one of the nice things about technology. We are so busy with our lives that we hardly notice the new services offered. If at all we get to know, we are not aware of the terms. This is when these calling guys help you out. I agree that the calling guys should not be too intrusive. My experience with ICICI bank on this has been extremely poor.

Yes a blanket ban on telephone marketing should be introduced legally. It will insure that no subscriber, irrespective of his buying power, will be harassed. The Marketeers can conentrate on advertising in newspapers, television and other media giving their phone numbers, to enable those who require their services ,to contact them directly.

telemarketing should be penalised forexceeding their limits
by Khan on Aug 07, 2006 04:36 PM

Whether lelemarketing can carryout business in customer account without his consent. If any such transaction is carried out, what action to be taken. Recently my credit card telemarketing has suggested for one insurance policy designed only for credit card holders.I have not agreed for the same, but telemarketing has issued instruction to issue policy.
when I have recieved the bill,Ihave objected. Credit card has disowned the responsibility .But insurance co. has confirmed that the policy was issued under instruction of credit card telemarketing.I am corresponding for last 6 months, but issue is not resolved. I have stop payment intreset acquired on non payment of insurrance amount.within 6 months, intreset has gone upto Rs.3000.
Iwould like know what action can be taken against credit card telemarketing to claim all damages.
