Hi guys,

Jet Airways has a brilliant Student Plan for people going abroad for further studies to countries like UK, USA, etc… They offer Excess Baggage Allowance of up to 23 kilos and travel insurance. You get a Matrix Sim Card to call back home and some other privileges, too. Paste the link in your browser.

I just thought you would be interested in this offer. Thanks for your time. This is Neha Thomas helping Jet Airways with their Student Plan Marketing efforts.

You should always plan your trip well before your classes start so that after reaching there you can take proper sleep and can get adapted to a new environment. Drink lots of fluids during the flight and also sleep well during the flight in order to feel fresh when you get down at your destination.

Ok, you will probably land in US sometime afternoon.. So you are not going to find sleep at all.. Find a place stay and during dinner time, treat yourself to a heavy meal with wine.. Actually lots of wine.. just drink up and you will sleep like a baby!! Worked for me..

Depends on the time you get here.
by Sree on Aug 10, 2006 07:45 PM

If you get here in the morning..
Go out and get some sun .. stay awake atleast till 7 or 8 pm
chew some ginger ... etc during the day

If you get here in the evening...
take a sleep aid and go to sleep in the evening...
or go for a good work out

Just take a flight that brings you here in the evening. Reach here, buy some booze, get drunk and pass out for 8 - 10 hours. You'll be good to go from the next mornin on.....
..... dont forget the beer nuts !

jetlag

The best way to tackle this is,one day prior to the journey better sleep for half the time of your regular sleep, with in one hour of boarding the flight you will be served break fast/snacks, eat sufficiantly
don't hesitate to ask for little more on board drink suficient liquid, since you had slept less yesterday you will automaticaly feel sleepy, now you can have sound sleep, drag your sleep as much as possible, even if you wake-up try to sleep some more time.
This will definatly pulls you out .
