Can anyone give some tips on how to prepare for H1B visa interview keeping in mind that that job offer is for Human Resources and not IT?

You don't have to read it if you don't want to
by Sutirtha on Aug 21, 2006 06:28 PM

Kaza,

Yes-I am an Indian immigrant in the US-the kind of folks you absolutely love to hate. My quick thought on your comment is that if you don't agree with what is being posted on the forum, you don't have to force yourself to read this. Clearly there are some people in the world who value the service being provided by rediff and if you find that you don't need those services, don't waste your time browsing through them.

Thanks,
SB

Immigration Do and Dont
by Abhishek on Aug 08, 2006 03:58 AM  | Hide replies

Hi All,

In regards to immigration laws, be prepared to answer many qustions, in tough situations, not wanting to scare anyone, just that due to current scenario, Americans have become more conservative.

Never discuss issues like religion, politics, current affairs and such in public, always look in the eye, relax and calmly but firmly answer all questions posed, do not look away.

Otherwise everything should be good

-Cheers
Abhishek

my sentiments exactly!

I agree with Kaza 100%. I've been observing these posts for a while now... seriously, has rediff got no better work ? Inspite of having a US edition, they want to shame themselves by putting up a discussion board on how to arrive and remain in the US.

Please put some valuable info on... instead of such hopeless bits and pieces of info from wannabe yankees who have one foot in the US before they finish their final year of college in India. ITS INDIAN TAXPAYERS MONEY that goes into funding the IIT's. Yet, how many IITians want to stay back and work for India's betterment ? I've got my fingers and toes ready for counting!
