handle with care
by hoshaiah d on Apr 25, 2007 11:43 AM

well, everybody works only earn something out of it. but, the fact is, not to involve dirty politics into the work atmosphere in your office. however, everyone has his/her own opinion while delivering services to an organization. in fact, its always better if we can handle the situation calmly in a polite manner. I can only say, "do go in front of the boss and do not stand behind a horse" coz, both are dangerous and will cost anything to our career. infact, its my own experience that i've undergone in my career begining and later i realised am standing in the wrong place and i changed my position where i should be, and am happy. therefore, friends, don't every dare to challenge your boss for you may have to pay a heavy price if your boss is unwilling to accept your challenge and don't every stand behind a horse coz, it may kick you and you may become handicap. ultimately, the concept of my views are, handle your boss and collegues with care, coz, more than your boss, your collegues may stab you behind and you may be fired for no reason and later your boss might realise that he did wrong for no fault of urs. take care and best wishes to all of you my friends and beware of your collegues as well.

Drawn-out and boring
by Abhishek Agarwal on Sep 19, 2005 01:14 PM

The article was extremely drawn-out and boring. Nothing interesting to read with repetitive ideas floating all over the write-up. The idea cud very well be expressed in a paragraph or two. We were expecting something crisp & interesting.

annoy your boss and survive

annoying the boss could help in better production or creativity.
but it should be pertaining to the office or factory floor.
the boss's wife or other family members should not be involved in the behind the back jabbering

annoy your boss and survive ?
by AJAY SATIJA on Sep 17, 2005 02:10 PM

Is it so ? Can you compare this article with private firm where you will find just politics instead of work .

Just know the taste of your boss and follow the formula to become success

one hour of gossips with in morning + 1 hour of gossips before going home ( u can take it as over time )= 12 hours of work

Just follow the same and see the results .

Not worth a read
by Paurush Sonkar on Sep 17, 2005 01:14 PM

I am an ardant fan of all articles on Rediff but this one is an exception as it holds no worthy information and has absolutely nothing in it that would appeal to the reader. I request Rediff that atleast such articles whose heading signify stuff that people wish to read must be well taken care of instead of allowing such Junk to be dispalyed.

!!!And bad mouthing of any other person is bad"". why emphaisi on boss. reading this article made me feel like all emplyees are slaves/servants. And this is wrong. employer and amployee both need each other. Its the skill that employee sells.
It depends who is more talented. Who needs whom more?

Time has changed now...
by Bhupender on Sep 17, 2005 02:16 AM

Now the bosses are more tolerant...I worked for GE and Electrolux and never took the badmouthing gets into my professional decisions I only see the performance and appreciates...I would not like to sack ot transfer a performer for these reasons. If your behavior is appropriate in office then saying these things by someone reporting to you will work against him or her. Person who can't understand those are not performers I would like to move them out irrespective of badmouthing or not...and after all you needs performers to perform.
