I would like to suggest 8th point. Have a dictionary of stock market with u.. and understand every word in it. Else, u will not understand what stock spilt is, and simply rue over what u have lost
Ranbaxy had a bonus/stock split and that is the reason for it to have gone from 1000 odd to 500 odd. you would have got 1 share more for 1 held. so things are not that bad for u.
