Invest thru Direct Business Catalyst
by Mr.R Mohideen on Dec 10, 2005 11:13 AM

Dear Sir,
I am very new to share business. I have trading a/c with ICICI and investing in shares thru their Direct Business catalyst (example XYZ associates). Is there any risk/misuse involving Business catalyst since they operate my Saving account to buy/sell shares. I am unable to trade online and need to go thru them always. I need your advise wheather to keep them or deal shares directly. I am interested to know is there any posibility of misusing my money and tell me their operating limitation in my SB account. Pls advise me.

thanks
Rasul

Is there any lockin period for HDFC Tax Saver and HDFC Long Term Advantage. If so how much? Also if I start an SIP in one of these funds, when can I redeem the units.

Ineffective feedback
by uma shankar on Oct 29, 2005 07:52 PM

Dear madam/sir,
the comparison is insufficent to take a decesion before investing and thereof the comparision is baseless as the objective of the different fund has been mixed which reflects a bias comparision.

No much difference
by Ravi on Oct 28, 2005 01:23 PM

i think there is not much difference between core and non-core funds. The risk factor is same when investing in large cap or mid caps.
