by Guest on Apr 10, 2009 04:13 PM

in the financial year 2009-2010,our state government is revising our pay and will be paying arrears in two installments but within the time frame of 12 months.
My monthly salary now stands = 29260/month
out of which my office deducts 4200 rupees as quarter rent.
so I get around 25000/month(afetr deducting rent from gross)
I will also be getting an arrears of around
110000 in two installments but within this year only.

how could i save my taxes...but there are some conditions
1.After two years from now i want to get a house of worth Rs.11 lakhs.

please suggest any solution for current position and after two years, how should i plan to save taxes now and then...??

What about the premium?
by Sridhar on Oct 26, 2005 12:10 PM

The article on "supplemental" insurance is
one-sided. It does not talk about the downside of
buying insurance when one's employer already
has provided coverage. Why would you need to buy
extra insurance today if you are only going to need
it 5 years from now when you start your own
company? Also, why would you buy insurance for
the whole year when you only need coverage for
15 days when you are in between jobs?
The article does not examine these points.

Office Mediclaim is not enough

It can be enough if the individual is careful. Most of the companies allow the individual to continue the policy separately even after you leave the organisation. Rest lies with you, if you care to renew on your own initiative
