by Dr. Ashish Urkude on Nov 30, 2005 12:21 PM

To let young generations achieve more on the domestic and career front, I request all to publish more such articles on investment and management of earning and spendings at individual to broader level.

poor article at best!
by prshant sharma on Nov 30, 2005 10:52 AM  | Hide replies

this is an article which promotes the slave mentality amongst the working population.
budget and everything is fine, but it seems that the author is not aware that people do make much more money when they venture out of 9-5 low paying, monotonous jobs.

lastly comment that 'tv set and mobile phone is not important' is shocking! if one doesnt aspire for these things then how can one stretch his or her limits?

all in all a futile exercise.

Dear Mr. Sharma:
I subscribe to the point raised by you about the low paying monotony created by the so called 9-5 jobs you mention. But to my understanding, the author of the article is not advocating that you should take it.
If you go through the article a bit dispassionately you will see that he wants people to be aware of the pitfalls of a "not regular" income and ways and means to work around the same.
My opinion - Lots of points to be taken even if one is salaried, esp the Disciplne aspect
