Whatever is being said here is absolutely right. Alcohol means a lot of calories. remember this is coming from a person who gained 14 kilos in 2 years just from drinking. If i had known this earlier, maybe i wouldnt be such a habitual drinker. My only advice is, drink less ppl, and that too sloooowly.

i had been drinking 3/4 large pegs of rum for the last 25 years. last 7 yrs i've been putting weight and big belly etc. i've started walking 1 hour in morning and evening and i've lost almost 8 kilos. my walk started from feb'10. i'm eating all like before only i changed my eating style : bf king/lunch 2pm moderate/dinner 6pm 2 rotis with steam cooked curry and only drinks. my waist size was 36 now it is 33.5
