The article is an enlightening one. I would like to know the follwing regarding Life Stage Funds: 1. What is the minimum investment one may makein these funds? 2. Is the SIP option available? 3. Is the investor entitled to Income tax benefits on the invested amount? 4. What do I need to do for investing in the Life Stage Fund? Hoping for a prompt reply, Thanking you in anticipation, Dr. Debasis Biswas.
I feel, Life Stage funds are really good from risk diverisification perspective. I have not read details about 20s' 30s', etc details but assume that they take into considerations the risk taking apetite of investors and their expected returns at the physical and logical ages.
Talk is very well wrote... and the points that it will not work well with investors' attitude in India and limited choice of investment avenues for a fund, I feel, seem to be the show stoppers in gaining the momentum.
