MBA is hype

learning MBA is just understanding how businesses work, a bit of common sense, some accounting and finance/MIS knowledge..

Its a kinda grooming for corporate culture.

It has bcome popular bcos of hefty packages for renowned Bschools in india. Solely based on brand value.

Real ppl who built big businesses are not necessary MBAs. Have a look at Laxmi mittal/bill Gates/ambani etc.

MBAs dare to tell me if i m wrong!!..

Well, I dont know if this comment is coming from a CA or an Engineer who is trying to plainly compare himself with the MBAs. Why dont you look at it as a further value addition?

As far as I have seen in the corporates, MBAs have an amazing attitude and an ability to perform under presssure which is what is required in today's business. Also, their communication skills are far better than the products of all other courses.

What say now?

dere r two lines...two pathways....1) building the infrastructure 2) managing the infrastructure (please note infrastructure can be any thing...buildings,bridges,etc etc)....for building the infrastructure engineers r recquired...fr managing the infrastructure its moneytory discipline nd all...fr dat gud mangers r recquired....nw even an engineer can b a gud manager widout being an MBA grad...bt he cant control the outflow inflow of the moneytory..probs..for dat basic skills r recquired..an MBA grad can control dat...dats y companies prefer..an engineer cum MBa student...coz...he is a pro..in both sides.....well its added 2 our advantage rite???? so y nt do MBA...better job better prospective...:)..
