Do research yourself before buying a laptop and you will find out Dell is better than any other.

I am planning to buy a laptop. I have done a good survey in all the brands. I feel dell is the most cost effective. I have selected Dell Inspiron 1525 with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz with a 3gb RAM and a 250gb HDD. Added with 8x double layer DVD writer, 15.4" screen, blue tooth, 2mega pixel camera, Windos Vista.
Is it a really good buy at 42500/-.
Kindly suggest.

Buying an intel laptop would be buying an obsolete laptop.. Intel does not have any 64bit processor in its mobile armour.

I would rather suggest going for an AMD Turion instead, and better an X2 at that.
