Russsia Has A Leader
by Ashwani K Sharma on May 10, 2005 07:39 PM

President Putin rightly emphasises main focus on goal rather than pleasure of process and that never take your weak partner lightly. Here is a very strong mind heading a basically strong nation.

We really wish Indian leaders learn few mantras from this India loving Russian head.Indian leaders generally have no long term vision ,do their politics on day to day basis and not setting high standards of thought ,action, strategy. Therefore we are a nation what we are.We can change all this provided......
Here is wishing this Champion of a leader a great success.

Nigel Hsiung
Vladimir Putin
by Nigel Hsiung on May 09, 2005 05:14 PM

Putin, a person who probably never gives it a second thought before brutally suppressing most of the ideals of democracy, this "to forgive rather than act harshly" is a revealation.

Also, the fact that he goes on record to say "the collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geo-political catastrophe of the 20th century" should clearly signal that he is no man willing to take responsibility of coming clean for the iniquities of the earstwhile soviet union.

All the more reason, given our stand towards freedom, especially in the recent anti-terror operation, that we idealize someone who stand for the values that we respect.
