If an Investor who has a FIXED Deposit for a FIVE Year period with a Nationalised Bank finds, when there are Three more Years for the FD to run out its period, that the Interest Rate has gone up by One Percent he has an OPTION to "Pre Close" and "REINVEST" the entire amount for another FIVE years at the NEW Rate. This is the ONLY way to 'gain'.
