You have to look beyond tradition

I read your article and do not agree to all that you have quoted here.

There are special oils in Ayurveda that are used for babies and I use them for my daughter. I see the difference in her growth patterns.

As far as water is concerned, there is a certain degree of hot water that is required for the baby. This is because, hot water takes away the body pain in babies.

Were Indians not using anything before the soaps were invented? Rubbish. Gram flour is one of the best powders you can use on babies after they are mixed with water and applied on the skin.

Traditionally, anklets are used so that the legs develop strength.

I teach Yoga to kids and find the modern kids hopelessly inflexible, lasy and weak. It is because of lack of following the traditional systems that has led them to what they are.

To sum up, you need to research more on the traditional systems and its effects before you can give tips on childcare. We have a 5000 year old health tradition that has been tried and tested.

Dear Sir,
I agree that baby need to taken care. But my experience is that basic coconut and til oil is very for baby. Besides Green gram flour and Shikai powder with milk malia is good. No need for fancy products.
