Jassi
by Susie Sudlow on Mar 19, 2005 11:19 AM

I find very strange that an ordinary secretary who thru her talent becomes the Assistant and the CEO of the office is in love with her, leaving the charming an ever beautiful Mallika. The CEO does'nt have any work that he is involved in this love affair and makes himself look sick..... even purab the multi millionaire who is behind Jassi... okay now she has a makeover.... it is fine... but previously the ugly looking girl its impossible that the high class society people will not even look at an inch to these type of girls with big fat glasses, braces and ordinary salwars. it is all stupid serials which make us sick.

This show is a copy of a soap aired in the US
by ls on Mar 16, 2005 03:36 AM

Indians have no originality - the story of this soap Jassi has been plagiarised from a spanish soap that was aired 4 years back in the US.

To think of all those soap addicts being awed over this show

I wish Jassi never had a makeover
by Shreya on Mar 15, 2005 04:17 PM

I am an avid viewer of Jassi Jaissi and have been watching it since the start. I have been following it through Jassis highs and lows. I know that Jassis makeover is much-hyped TV event. But I dont understand what all the hype is about. All the hype surrounding the makeover only proves that a woman NEEDS to be good looking to be successful in life. Earlier Armaan and Jassi made a unique couple with him being a cute guy but being a selfish person and she being not so perfect looks-wise but having a heart of gold. It was this unique pair that got us hooked. Now Jassi will be like any other pretty TV heroine. Personally I wish Jassi never had the makeover eventhough it was a part of the original script.

I think the changeove in Jassi's image will distort the meaning , message this serial wants to give.

The Dumbest and Untelligent Serial!!!!
by rukmani devi n on Mar 15, 2005 02:58 PM

I have been an avid spectator of this serial JASSI JAISI KOI NAHIN since the beginning. The portrayal of the character Jassi as an new recruit into a job, who is clumsy, slothy and really stupid at times was interesting in the beginning. But, later on, the character started losing relevence when she started getting emotionally invovled with Armaan and mentally invovled with Purab. This kind of a love triangle and the dragging of the serial was not needed.

Jassi's makeover
by Mitali Sharma on Mar 15, 2005 02:43 PM

I dont understand this fuss over someone's makeover which was very well anticipated since day one. I find this specific series the most hyped for nothing of all. And specifically these days when all the producers want to do is earn the every cent back they spent over the so called makeover. The series lasts for hardly over 15 mins after the advertisements. It is a pain to watch the constipated Apurva Agnihotri & the blank faced Mona Singh lately.
First of all it is hard to beleive that a lady who earns in thousands & stays in a more than decent housing does not have enough cash to remove her braces or get the a decent frame for her spectacles. Not to metion that the CEO of an organization does not understand the importance of being presentable. Shame Diya & Tony that you have foregone such minute details & an even bigger shame that this specific series is one of the most watched!!!

Daljit
with regards to ur article
by Daljit on Mar 15, 2005 02:35 PM

Well, Jassi has come a long way!! As for this article, it suggests that the author hasnt watched a single episode of Jassi, and also has not come in contact with anyone who watched Jassi before the makeover.

Hope that authors become a little more literate and study the subject throughly before writing down articles.
