Hi Neetika,
I suppose starting with a good GMAT book should be an ideal thing to do. Princeton GMAT and the Official Guide to GMAT are the two books you should refer to. Prepare the weeker sections fitst.
One important message left in this nice article is of a little advice. Don't start GRE preparation at the eleventh hour. One should spend minimum three years for that - in the opinion of many experts. Why? One should internalise the subject - that will take one long distance in future - even after the GRE. For example, if you like moveis, watch movies. If you like cricket, watch cricket. If you like love stories, read them - with an objective of learning the language. Or, use the theme specific preparation materials like Smarten Your Enlish throuh Success Secrets, Smarten Your English though Cricket, Smarten Your English through Love & Romance etc, which will take you a long way not only for English but will also build your personality. You will always in the limelight and will be confident.
- Get a princeton book that comes with test CD - Prepare weeker side most. If it is verbals, prepare verbals most. Mathematics should not be a problem as it is easy. - Dont forget to prepare essay by practising essay writing and reading newspaper.
