If we all earned millions
by Gaurav Jain on Jun 29, 2007 11:11 AM

Hello Preetee,

It is really a rare experience to read article like this. I am stunned and also very happy for you that you think this way.Very few of us are like this.It is also not about earning less or more, it is about the contentment, satisfaction, desires,satiation,belongings....... and much much more.Accepting you is the biggest achievement and that is a key even.Balanced approach to life always leads to endless happiness and self satisfaction. It is the one who experiences each and every fraction of life.

I am really happy and encourage others also to put forward themselves but with honesty.I completely agree with your views and thanks rediff.com and to you to come up with such a nice piece of writing. It's invariably food for thought for each of us whosoever read this article.

BUT AGAUN AT THE END EXPRESSING SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT FROM THE REALIZATION OF THE EXPRESSION.

It was one of the funniest and most thought provoking articles i have read on rediff. we should all ponder over the purpose of life and enjoy all the little joys that come our way that running after money all the time.

it is the dose that makes anything a poison

Any one living in a society needs money if he/she is to help himself/herself. The question on how much money is tricky. As our future wants can only be speculated so is the quantum of money necessary. But it would be wiser not to eat till u feel suffocated. But eat to stay away from hunger. Also store some for tomorrow. Eat to live and not live to eat. The purpose of work is not just to earn, earning is a means to a peaceful life. So it is to live peacefully without worries. "Peaceful" need not be confused with "Comfortable". It is the moderateness that paves the way for a peaceful life.

what preeti needs to consider is that we are looking at what are the laid down ways to make money. why shouldnt we look at it from the way that everything we do has value. at times monetary and at other times value of a different kind. its the satisfaction at times of doing something in order to feel that you too have contributed. it is to get a smile from anothers lips or at time just to put a smile on your own tired lips. think about it
