One-by-six -- suggestion for expanding.
by Cogito_ergo... on Jan 31, 2005 01:01 PM

The number of categories can be profitably expanded. Two suggestions are as follows.
1. If you own or use a ball-point pen or equivalent. -- If you own or use one, it means you can read and write, and therefore it is quite probable you have a taxable income.
2. If you own a toothbrush. -- You must also be using toothpaste. If you can afford tootbrush and toothpaste, you must be fairly well-to-do, and must be having a taxable income.
Compliance in these two categories can be enforced with no trouble at all: just pass a law requiring you to produce a PAN card without which it will be an offence for a shopkeeper to sell you a pen (or refill), toothbrush, or toothpaste!
