Suitability of the IGCSE for the learning disabled
by on Apr 30, 2013 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

My child is mildly learning disabled. I do not wish to put him in the NIOS Board as he's finding it extremely boring and non challenging. Is IGCSE a good option for him .

Yes teachers are ready to take an extra step for such students, in fact I had two class mates with such problems and they passed key stage.

i would recommend that you stick to your current system than to change, because you might get confused because these two system have different ways of teaching like if you do CBSE its more of theory and cramping as for IGCSE its more of application than theor.
hope this helps

if he is in a lower standard like grade 1-4 then i would say go for it, but if he is in a higher grade i would recommend he stay in ICSE cause then he will get confused and will lose interest.
hope this helps please email me for help
