Getting to know a person in order to see a possibility of having a longterm relationship is more than a play and cheap life styles.

All of these relate to cheap short lived thrills leaving one with guilt and stupid if the relationship does not end up in marriage.
Instead the writer / media should focus on trying to understand each others mindsets and views about taking up the journey of life. If it is possible to Respecting each others thoughts, if they will be accomating in future abouth the ups and downs in life together, have some some kind of spiritual / ethical base as a foundation for their living. Obtain sufficient Wisdom to live as 2 good souls promoting harmony where ever they go.
It is high time writers grow up from just aping the cheap western life styles (and furthur degrade the thought process of youngsters) and promote respectful ethical charecter based living.

You've said it.I really like it.I know there are many people out there who may foolishly spend a lot of money just on any date to impress them.If anyone is seriously considering to entertain on a steady pace your suggestions are quite welcome.Yet, I do agree with one of the commentors that it's better to ensure she knows your financial conditon and it's not worth entertaining someone whom you're sure that you can not afford.It would be an abuse to employ sachin's ideas there. But, when you employ these techniques with your beloved and friends you're getting that extra mile for your money.
We have walked a long way and now attitude of girls has changed. They are feeling quite ok and satisfied by making her purse lighter. And with the new sense of empowerment, they want to walk a bit more than we guys. So forget those days when we were seen as money machine and dating use to be test of your buying power. This is disgusting. This it seems, that the guy is catching a fish not building a relationship. If one is serious about the relationship and not just playing with the girl, he should manage to tell the girl about his financial condition. If somehow he manages to hide his condition and the girl has some different image of it, and by chance they get married, the guy will be in a trouble for lifetime and the girl will be dis-satisfied for the rest of her life.

Here are some more for anyone who wants to read.. Sunday Flea Markets (look at tons of stuff, laugh together at all the things being sold, spend nothing) Late night (decent quality) roadside food joints (she has been to all the swanky ones but surprise her by taking her to a place and asking her to trust you.. could be a juice center, a homemade icecream center, a baraf golawala etc.) Window shopping in a really expensive mall (she wont expect you to buy something that costly) English movies in Multiplexes outside the city (many open up a bit faraway and they show English movies for real cheap.. a good deal as you spend less money but more time with her, coupled with a long drive which is always romantic)
