I have to thank the author and rediff com for showing me the guidance when I was Distraust to get a loan from Nationalised and private banks. Since I am working in Security field no bank come forward to offer me Housing Loan even against the Collatarol security. The banks only avail the loan to the haves and not to the needy.
Security cheques are taken by ICICI too to the extent of loan disbursed apart from the documents of the flat/house. But relatively ICICI serves better. The borrower has less chance to argue or support his argument with almost all the housing finance companies. Krishna Kommu
Whats the difference? HDFC has asked for cheques covering full amount...in addition to the EMI post dated cheques. So I dont see much of a difference. Deepak
I do agree with the writer. In fact I have also faced a lot of problem from the renowned Banks. It needs to be seen that low salary/ income bracket people do get loan with ease.
So what....all banks (be private or nationalised banks take blank cheques too) Tell me one who does not?
I too have found the attitude of ICICI bank people to be disappointing and the biggest worry was the fact that they keep you hanging and take so many documents before they even say No!!!!
Dewan Housing I agree is fast, but they take blank cheques called 'SECURITY CHEQUES" which they can fill and deposit anytime in case of dispute and prosecute under section 138 criminal offense.
