My Brother is the best
by Parul Kumar on Aug 17, 2005 07:07 PM

he fought with me if i refused to give him my share of choclate or will not let him watch his favorite serial, leak his secrets to my mum and dad ... but he also stayed awake with me when i studied for my board exams, make me a weird cup of tea.. stood by me when i decided to marry out of my parents wish ......MY Brother has been a very strong pillar of support in my life. He has given me a feeling of 'I will be there whenever you need me'... without ever saying it and all i can say is He is the best and thank god for giving me wonderful friend and a brother in one. You are the best little brother....!!!

Happy Raksha Bandhan Day

The Almighty created Mother,Father and Brother for the girl in a family as saviours. Relationship with brother is something special as she can relate anything to her brother which she cannot reveal to her parents. Brother is like that bodyguard who sprangs to her defence maintaining constant vigil from people unwanted. As the saying goes" You should ask a brother who has lost his sister", i have lost my sister too at the tender age of 7 due to a disease called diptheria. I was too young to know about the disease.I haven't had the bliss of having love and affection of a sister. The numbing pain is still there in the innermost recesses of heart. God is very kind and great to me in that he has given me many adopted sisters from all over the world who treat me as a brother of their own. I am truly blessed by their love and affection and whenever i think of them, my heart fills with joy bounty and pleasure galore. May God bless them all on this Wonderful Occassion of RAKSHA BANDHAN DAY with all the happiness, peace and success added with a touch of sweetness for a great measure.

Prasad

A day is not enough!
by Gayatri on Aug 17, 2005 04:08 PM  | Hide replies

Often when i see sisters together around me , a thought flashes my mind that why was i not born with a sister too but always the second thought soon after is that i would not want to trade my two elder brothers who mean more than my world to me for anything , not even a sister They have been all to me friend , brother and even tried their best to fill the vaccuum of a sister...without talking to them in a day my day goes incomplete.and then i feel so proud & lucky for having them in my life that i forget what fun can two sisters do together. It can never be more than what i have received from them.

Today , we stay far away , and time is flying by.Its been years i tied Rakhi to them with my own hands but still we all know we are there for each other every minute and though Rakhi is an important occasion i want to let them know i love them & miss them all year round and they together make my life complete and i am always around for them.

Thanks a lot for being there for me!!!
