Superb time to invest !!!
by UKB-Pune on May 25, 2005 09:22 AM

Hi...I think this is the right time for people to invest in this share/stock. It will yiled very good results in the months to come-by. DEAD SURE !!!

If anny one has invested in the Pantaloon Retail stock would grab this opportunity right away. This will make people feel that investing in stocks is also a good bet at times.

Shoppers stop EPS
by Atul Seth on Apr 30, 2005 08:53 AM

A mistake has been done while calculating the EPS ratio of the company. It is the total number of share 3.43 crores not the Rs. 3.43 crores. Please make the necessary corrections if possible otherwise release the statement with effect to the same.
Thanks,
Atul Seth

Ownership of a company?
by Harish Anand Thilakan on Apr 30, 2005 02:34 AM

Might be prudent to note that the initial paras of this article refer to how once a person becomes a share holder, he becomes an owner of the company to that proportion of the shares that he or she holds.

This is false. The most fundamental, basic characteristic of a Company is its Separate Legal Entity. Its considered in Management terms, an artificial person.

So a share holder continues to be just that - a share holder and he is the owner only of that portion of the share capital to which he has subscribed and been allotted.

Care may be advised for future articles.
