Is the PF withdraw after 9.5 Yrs of job will be taxabel. Pl. do also tell me about the gratuity, whether this will also be taxabel or not. -Sudeep, Vaishali, Ghaziabad
I wirked for a cmpany "X" for 3 years and 5 1/2 months. The very next day I started at another company "Y" where I worked for 1 year and 6 1/2 months which effectively meant that I have 5 years of continuous employment. I had asked for my PF form company "X" to be transferred to company "Y" -- this did not happen due to delays at the PF office. Now would my entire withdrawal (company "X" "Y") be taxable? By now, after exactly a months gap, I have started at company "Z"
pl. confirm whethere withdrawl from PPF is taxable now. Further if the Govt. makes it taxable, will it be after the date of passing of the Finance Bill'2005 or will it deemed to have started from 01.04.05. Pl. clarify ??????????
If UPA continues in power, everything will be taxed.

UPA is a new avtar of the colonialism.
It is a matter of great surprise and even yet greater a shock to learn that the Salt Act that made our Rashtrapeeta undertake the Dandhi Kooch (the safed topi idiots recently tried foolishly to mimick it)is still in force !!!!
What can you expect from the various governments that are just the inheritors of the british joolum.
It is high time all our politicians are taught some kind of a lesson.
