Are CV's preferred over resumes in India? I'm an engineering student in the US and I was advised by recruiters to prepare a 1 page resume to apply for corporate and industrial internships. Only grad students who had published journal papers or had projects that needed extensive description, could exceed the normally allowed 1 page. However since I am applying for internships here in Bombay I was wondering if a detailed CV was the norm here. Also will the basic format change whether the application is for an internship or a full-time position? I didn't think so...but I would appreciate any replies on the same. Thanks.
