Dear sir,
You Realy have provided Excellent information, one gets a good insight of a BPO it thoroughly gives an insight of a Call Center.

I wanted information on employees work life balance, because generally BPO people work in shifts. So how company help their employees and how employees manage themselves to keep the balance between work and life?

Why not a BPO?
by Vishal Kalani on Nov 04, 2005 08:12 PM

Iam 24 and an electronics engineer.Even tough I did complete engineering,i was pretty certain that the engineering field is not or me.I'm just not 'that'kind of person. It was a wrong choice. Now I have option of making a career in singing ,which i am pretty good at,or into cricket commentry(or cricket writing). But as these are not carrers which would take care of my financial needs immediately,I need to go for a career which would pay me nicely, for the time being ,so that icould meet my current financial requirements.
I did go into Sales ,but the earning there was not enough and there was pressure of targets as well.
Now,considering all this,call-centre is the best option available to me. I don't mind working in night shifts, because the gain is much greater than the pain. There is incovineance of working in night shifts, but but then there are recreational activities.Similarly, other benefits like various perks, perfomance based incentives,Pick and drop facility, focus on individual growth, and good compensations, make working in a BPO a great career.
