Hi Reader,

First of all I would like to thank the author Sudhanshu N for the excellent article. I also would like to appreiate you for reading the article and the feedback as well.

10% is subjectively, but that's the lowest one should save.

Saving 10% is good!
by Savita George on Feb 26, 2005 11:19 AM

I think it is an excellent idea to save at least 10% of your total income. You can invest this money after it accumulates a little. Invest in short term as well as long term projects. Put the money where you will not touch it, ie, it should not be easily accessible to you.

A sure-fire way to financial prosperity is recorded in the Bible. Give 10% of your income to God. Give to charity or donate the money to your church. God is not a debtor to anyone. He owns EVERYTHING in the universe. So you are only giving back what He owns anyway! The benefit is the God sees your heart of thankfullness and goodness towards others and He will surely, SURELY, bless you for it.

It is POSSIBLE to live comfortably with 80% income, whatever the amount. God bless.
