i remember.. 3 years back same types of eating joint was there in Secunderabad also..some chawal kitchen..so nothing new.. but i liked this idea and used to frequent it quite often.. u get variety and no wastage of food also..

this concept was started wayy back in chennai by Hotel Saravana Bhavan!! Its not a new concept at all. Saravana Bhavan had the "Swayam" vegetarian buffet at their peters road restaurant in chennai.

Hey, this idea is already in operation at the 'Nammoora hotel' at Bangalore for the last 3 years and is a big success.

This is not news to many of the Chennaites. The system is prevalent for close to FOUR years now in the Saravana Group hotels at Pondy Bazar and at Peters Road,

Not an original idea, even in India. The Saravana Bhavan chain of restaurants had introduced the same concept afew years back at one of their outlets in Chennai.

So what is new???

This is not a new concept. This has been there for a long time in a resturant in Bangalore called Namma Uru.
