Enough has been written and talked about what skills do click in this BPO spectrum? I won't dwell on anyone of those obvious criterias yet there is one missing in your well analysed academic articles! And that isn't a skill but an attribute that any recruiting Manager would give half his arm for---it's ACCOUNTABILITY. 'Easier said than done' you may mutter but this is half the story. Well, for the uninitiated, it's a trait that doesn't come to you one fine summer day but then you acquire it like you do with skills till you fine tune it. Most of us gather skills as if there's no tomorrow and no wonder the number of training institutes buttresses this very fact yet for a moment think 'Have I ever been accountable for the skills that I have tried so hard to gain?' You don't need anyone to ask you this question ..ASK YOURSELF? The answer is right there with you....
