the UPA or more specifically MMS calling and offering this post to the bad old man advani is the sign of a proper stateman! inspite of all the personal BS advani had piled up against MMS, MMS still approaches advani in peace and respect....this is how u run a government....with diplomacy and with an eye to dissolve tensions and find resolutions.....not pick up the war cry at the drop of a hat! advani lost bcoz he didn't respect anybody outside the bjp

PM is just following the protocol, and offering Dy Spkr is just an underhanded sarcasm.
MMS isnt clever enough to pull it off on his own, this is as usual the handiwork of the CARTEL that drives the COngress and hence RULES INDIA, with milky-creamy faces of Gandh1 pariwar as a coverup, and MoneyMohan sing as an eyewash.

This is not any generous gesture ... this is the tradition followed by all govts since 1991 - even NDA govt had done same

This isn't any extra ordinary gesture. Even in 1999 when NDA was voted to power, deputy speaker post was occupied by the opposition.
Further I wish to state that people need to look at BJP with a broad mind. They are not as communal as they are made out to be and Congress is not as secular as it projects itself. Remember MMS statement 'Minorities have first right over country's natural resources'. Is this statement secular?

no, u bjps and rss have made india and hinduism a laughing stock in the whole world. there are entire websites which shouts respects to hindusim and various jagad gurus and then the same websites post "news" about rahuls gandhi's misdeeds like rape and other nonsense! these are agencies affiliated to bjp and advani doesn't have theballs to say no to them!

the main difference between bjp and congress is that, bjp is just a front for RSS/VHP....all the shots within the party are called by RSS?VHP ....bjp is just the administrative and politial wing of these cults....the latest example is the decision on the selection of the oppn leader....where do you think all the decisions are benig made? advani's house...or ...?

its so nice to hear that manmohan singh and sonia gandhi are offering respect toadvani. Man responsible for organising massacres, demolition calling jinnah secular. Advani is the most politically corrupt and hypocratical politician in Indian. He belongs to RSS which has no spine, is coward and speaks double language. Poor guys, they have been shown their place by electorate in IndiA

SIT expose Fraud NGOs and Teesta Setalvad mischief
Amnesty NHRC NMRC NGOs are all frauds worried only about…
The recent SIT findings submitted to the Supreme Court exposes the evil designs of certain ‘secularist’ NGOs, and self styled human rights activists.

The SIT, headed by former CBI director, R K Raghavan, along with former DGP C B Satpathy and three senior IPS officers Geetha Johri, Shivanad Jha and Ashish Bhatia, was assigned to enquire into the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat by the Supreme Court. The SIT report has categorically indicted Teesta Setalvad, a self styled human rights activist of tutoring witnesses, cooking up macabre tales of wanton killings and slapping false charges against police officials.

I totally agree with your submission.Truer words were not spoken on these lines ever. It's time for re-think by all Indians because we Indians
keep looking the other way when psuedo secular manipulators distort the picture and paint the Hindus as communal. This hypocracy is a disease we must remove.
Hats off to you for being so dilligent and true.

MMS - seek NDA’s guidance on Good Governance N Development
by Sardar Patel on May 30, 2009 11:33 PM  | Hide replies

BJP's achievements in just 6 years congress failed in 60 yrs
Golden Quadruples: Infrastructure development
Sarva Siksha Abiyan (SSA): For providing education to all
Initiated Study panel to link all Indian rivers: For agriculture / economy development
Pokran Nuclear test: To proclaim world that is India is technically capable and changed India’s role in world as dictating country instead just listening country
Good management of economy: Part of India’s loan repaid
Look east foreign Policy: Instead of running behind western countries, concentrate on Eastern countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia etc and get the items cheaply
Initiated Muslim / Hindu leaders dialog: To solve Ayodya issue amicably as the court is delaying its verdict & as 2/3 majority not available to pass a motion like Shawbanu case.
Implementing Laws Like POTA: Which will make the Indian origin people fear to help / support foreign origin Terrorist activities to control terrorism
Abdul kalam as President & George Fernandez as Defense Minister: Shown people that BJP is Secular / Patriotic Muslims & Christians will always get their deserving positions
Effective control of TRAI: Which made the cell phone network revolution in India
Effective control of Railways: Which become base for current development in railways.
And much more.

Patel-bhai,
Please do not forget the two other achievements:
1. Corruption by Pramod Mahajan, surpassed in 6 years of NDA rule what Congress could do in 60 yrs.
2. Maut-ki-Saudagar could do in 3 days what Congress could not do in Delhi, Bhagalpur and other places.
So after hiding since May 16th, you have come out of your holes now!!!

@ bobby

1. about corruption, how do we know who did how much. no returns are filed for that.

2. narendra modi was not himself involved in riots. he did not justify riots.

but, rajiv gandhi brigade killed many more sikhs and then, justified saying that when a large falls, the earth shakes.

by D S on May 30, 2009 11:28 PM

Nexus as they say, keep the power between COngress and BJP. Chew up and split the Third Front votes. Both (MMS, ADVnia, sonia..) want to ensure each one's Gaddi.

Lefitst should never have joined UPA last term, these are all repurcussion of it!!!!

Seems like leftist will come back for UPA, sing secular/non-secular when Mukerjee hands them a carrot.

Dear Kumar, Advaniji needs no body's help to save his face. We are unfortunate that we could not get a True nationalist leadership, when our country is facing threats from across. I respect Dr. MMS but the problem is that he has to dance to the tune of a lady which is of Foreign origin and can not solve our problems . Jai Hind

fyi kamal,Manmohan singh does not know how to dance.Infact,he auditioned for dance india dance but the judges rejected him.in addition, when we Indians are interested in everything foreign, why cna't we have a person of foreign origin as a leader if that person is better than the home produce.true patriotism is realizing what is good for a country and not what is good for hollow principals.USA would not be usa if it would not have relied on immigrants.I do beliee that you have really good logic but that logic is only valid in cookoo land.goodluck to you and have a good & fruitful visit.
