AFTER A DECISIVE WIN,INDECISIVENESS
by RUPENDU BHOWMICK on May 29, 2009 08:48 PM  | Hide replies

It is appaling to look at the nature of the new cabinet, which took a month to form after a decisive win by the UPA.Why Dr.Singh and Mrs.Gandhi inducted DMK ministers when just two weeks ago they had gone public by saying that they would support the governmemnt from outside is a mystery. By keeping people like Karunanidhi at hand the message that goes down to the youth of India is not a positive one. Also 9 ex chief ministers (none have contested these elections except Farroq Abdullah, and S.K.Shinde) have been given plum cabinet positions, while performers like Praful patel, Jairam ramesh have still been kept as MOS:very strange. Also the allocation of portfolios: Dr.Abdullah as NON CONVENTIONAL ENERGY MINISTER ?? Kumari Selja as TOURISM MINISTER ?? ,Veerappa Moily the new LAW MINISTER ??, Jyotiraditya Scindia still a MOS!!whereas Agatha sangma(because she is an ally) already a MOS!!
I fail to realise where the problem lies. And I don't mind dayanidhi Maran, but Azagiri and Raja--NO WAY. There are better people form Tamilnadu;
The Congress party has done injustice to its own party men: but NO ONE SEEMS TO BE COMPLAINING -----

Which party have they managed except the DMK ?? NCP as well as TMC have been very very accomodative. Its only karunanidhi and family who have been the trouble makers. Why not show them the door altogether ?

Anybody with common sense will not vote BJP!
by jayson moses on May 29, 2009 08:43 PM  | Hide replies

Not only minorities but majority of H1ndus dont vote for BJP. The main reason is all moderate H1ndus wanted to live in peace. Last five year congress did a good job. No major setbacks. See the growth in recession. So story of Hindutva should be given up by BJP.

All pyschic BJP and Paki supporters - act fast
by Bharat Soni on May 29, 2009 08:42 PM  | Hide replies

Dear brothers and sisters, Please visit Dr. Harish Shetty to get rid of your psychic behaviour. BJP's loss has taken its toll on most of the BJP lovers. India's progress is giving nightmares to our dear enemies. The monthly income of an average Indian for the first time in the country's history has crossed Rs3,000, thanks to economic reforms and a high growth rate of above 9 per cent achieved for three years since 2005-06. Dr Harish Shetty, Psychiatrist, L H Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai believes that frequent change or sudden loss of job, social and personal problems, high expectations, jealosy, issues with colleagues and long working hours lead to both physical and mental exertion. He adds, “If a person is not able to climb the progress ladder at a pace he wants, it could lead to frustration and loss of self-esteem, which in turn would affect his mental health and patients normally tend to blame others for their weaknesses and mistakes.

Plea to MMS Pls do not divide nation further
by Lopesh S on May 29, 2009 08:41 PM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

by Saleem on May 29, 2009 08:38 PM  | Hide replies

See, BJP and allies are telling about, why the muslims are supporting congress, Its clear that, Congress always been in concern with all religion. Unlike BJP is only speak about hinduva and that to show off. Some of the BJP leaderr gave hate speech, and nobaody came and condemned it. Till the date i will vote congress, If BJP does the same what congress are doing sure in future i will vote to BJP also. This is the reason i will not BJP till today.

Lol, BJP speaks for all. check objectively and in actual action, and Cong sides mainly with Muslims and Christians who go the whole hog voting strategically to defeat BJP with a revengeful attitude because Mayawati has weaned away SC/ST plus others. So Cong is in danger, next time people will throw it out. In fact Hindu word has been made a phobia by some vested interests who have shut doors leading to your brain to think analytically. India is secular because of Hindus. Why are Pakistan or Bangladesh or other many Muslim countries theocratic ? Ask yourself if you are really tolerant.

by the way have you heard of minority ministry? congressis investing heavily in it and tell me if all its policy is for every one and all of them are so good why they need to give a suplement to minorties (read muslims)? it shows that even if congress do work for every body it do some extra work for muslims, let me ask you is it a sin to be a majority in this nation ?
