BJP DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO WIN ELECTIONS.
by CHANDRA KORADA on May 27, 2009 09:34 PM  | Hide replies

BJP can come to power only when there is a strong wind against Congress(Bofors). Congress know how to take care of their vote banks, even at the cost of the country's progress and security. BJP has no presence in the South and whenever thay depended on other southern regional outfits like TDP, AIADMK to come to power, they had bitter memories. Hindutva is very confusing word and can not be understood by people below powerty line, minorities, unlettered et al. RSS is taboo for the minorities and BJP does not know how to come out of the RSS grip. The future lies in inducting youth into BJP without any religious leanings and their aim is to buils a viable alternative to the corrupt congress. BJP leaders consider themselves natioanalists but do little to save the nationfrom the clutches of corruption, dynastic politics, doon school coteries, regional outfits(who have their own suprimos busy amassing wealth) et al. There is a way to build alternatives to Congress. BJP Leaders who have not grown thro' RSS ranks should either assert in the party to change the approach. This may be difficult. These leaders should desrt BJP and form a strong secular party with good ideals and induct youth. Their aim is to give a clean govt. LK Advani miserably failed in slecting the right areas in his election propoganda. He should step aside soon. Murli manohar Joshi will bury BJP if he is given any position in the party. Rajnath Singh is another liability. Showrie, Ananthkumar, Jaitly: AsserOrDesert

Even courts, that too in the mid of elections
by Manpreet Singh on May 27, 2009 09:05 PM

I think the courts advertently or inadvertently played a role.In the thick of elections they declared that SIT will enquire into the role of Modi played during riots. Then the courts declared Fast tracks court to listen to Teesta Javed Seetalwad, the Hindu turned Muslim lady fighting for victims.I think their identities even were questionable but the decision did demoralise BJP and its Voters.I wish the courts could wait for ten days so that elections were over.Probably that would also hhave changed the outcome of results. In short, not only media, newspapers,Chief Election commissioner Chawla, and courts played a role

BJP for Pakistan
by Jugnoo on May 27, 2009 08:48 PM

The BJP should shift its base to Pakistan bcoz there are no takers of its ideology in a democratic, socialist, secular republic like India.
They can get support in Pakistan, as there are people of its ideology like Taliban, LeT, JeM etc.
BJP is lost, nation is saved.
Enjoy.
Jai Hind.

BJP should ask public, sort of referendum
by Ramesh Anand on May 27, 2009 08:26 PM  | Hide replies

BJP should publish an advertisement and ask public what do they want ,specially the Hindus, that is whether they wantBJP to
1.abondon Ram Mandir or do they want Ram Mandir to come up at Janam Bhoomi?
2.abodan the issue of 370 abolishing special status to Kashmir or they want BJP to fight for this.
3.abondon common civil code or they want BJP to continue fighting for common code
4.abondon concern of Jehadi attack on Hindus as did in Kashmir, amar Nath Yatra,Raghunath Manidir,Sankat Mochan Mandir,Mumbia ,Delhi, Jaipur,Banglore, coimbatore etc or the public want BJP to aggressively persue these issues
etc etc. This will give BJP a clear picture whether it should continue as a party with a difference or become a party like Congress,SP,BSP RJD etc worrying about Non-Hindus only. There is no harm asking the things in very clear terms so that it can shape itself without any confusion.Once it reaches a decision,it should stubbornely stick to it like communists

BJP lost as it has become half congress
by such jano on May 27, 2009 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

There are too many congress style sycophants in it now. The party is sometime shy on its nationalist and pro hndu policies. I want them to adopt aggresive strategy, no matter what they do, musies are never going to vote for them, so its futile, you end up losing hndu votes in process.
So they must stick to their original nationalist agenda of 'one country one people' along with no nonsense, no appeasement, honest politics.

If there are Muslims who will not vote for fundamentalists parties like MIM,there are Hindus who would not vote for parties like BJP.Point is BJP was always pro hindu and the results have shown how far their policy can take them.

Congress Vctory BJP Defeat.
by vigyan singh on May 27, 2009 07:27 PM

Congress has won and BJP got defeated,so media hogwash is that whatever congress has done was right and all the efforts put by BJP was wrong.

This is not the right perception.

See, what Chandan Mitra has said .BJP has to increase its base at the states like AP,Tnadu,WB and Congress's wider prescence in the nation helped them to win.
