Rahul will kick anyone from the brigade if he claims to be better qualified for the top post.

A lot can be said. If you guys have NOT figured out.
It comes to the saying
"Some hear but cannot hear'
"Some see but cannot see'

PLEASE FIGURE OUT THIS SETUP.

Whatever we/you say, money power media will overwrite million times for sake of this mafia.

The Rising Son !
by sridhar subramaniam on May 27, 2009 06:16 AM  | Hide replies

Though I see some positive trends in this election like the rise of the youth brigade, the death blow to the communist party, the win of Nitish Kumar in Bihar there have been some disconcerting trends too like the return of YS Rajashekhar Reddy in AP despite a lacklustre first term, the dynastic politics of the DMK with that old man not letting go of power.

I am also shocked that the so called discerning Indian voter continues his obsession with the Gandhi family. There is coterie of chamchas who know which side their bread is buttered and they keep projecting the Gandhi family so that these guys can bask in their borrowed glory and enjoy the loaves and fishes of high office. On their own, the coterie cannot come to power ! This is the bane of Indian Politics !

If Rahul Gandhi can use the greatness thrust upon him, he should use the mandate to usher in political reforms and focus on creating world class infrastructure, give fillip to emerging sectors like Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Clean Fuel Alternatives, Pharmaceuticals, focus on developing India as a Preferred Tourist Destination with support infrastructure rather than, on becoming the Prime Minister and perpetuating his dynasty !

But expecting such selflessness from Rahul may be expecting too much, I guess !

Very nice suggestions. May I add one more? How about inner party democracy rather then this clinging on to power through sycophancy
If he can do that then I will say that he is a leader otherwise he is just one more media hype

Very well Said Popatlal.I don't find any fault in grooming the young and right brigade grooming for the future. That is great. I even appreciate Rahul for contesting in election and getting elected by the people.HE is at;east better than some other politician who comes to power through background. As one more step, if he could succeed in developing inner democracy within congress party, we can defintley say he would be one of the greatest leaders that INDIA have.

Popatlal the name suites to you very much. Since you ignore the facts. Congress is trying to build a team to develop our nation. But you can able to find only a Rahul factor. Whether it is Rahul or somebody else we need strong leaders to develop our nation.

At least read the article before you comment

Sure just like King Hussein of Jordan builds a team or for that matter Saddam's inner team during the early part of his tenure had pretty smart people too. That does not develop democracy or a cadre based on hard work. It build coterie and sycophants who will sing praises simply to remain in power

Why do we even need any election? Why do we need to spend so much money to elect the Yuvraj?

Let him be the Prime Minister till the day he retires and the next in line from fake Gandhi family comes and takes charge.

India is not our country, this is no better than British India.

Even British said they could rule better than any Indian. Now the Gypsy mafia that rule, split majority votes and makes congress-bjp nexus says the same about the Dalits.
